Sue Rees is the Principal of Sue Rees Modelling and Deportment Academy, and has been operating the successful business in Tasmania since 1975.
Sue has a background in event management, marketing and sales, and has worked for prominent Launceston businesses such as Joseph Chromy, Country Club Tasmania, O’Hara’s Resort and the Olde Tudor Motor Inn over the past 26 years.
In 2018, Sue was named the Tasmanian and Victorian State Director of Miss Teen Australia. Sue is also a Life Member of the Tasmanian Turf Club, and has recently been appointed onto the Board. She has also served on the Board of Variety Tasmania.
As an event organiser, Sue is well-known for orchestrating and co-ordinating fashion events for the racing industry (in particular the Launceston Cup), Bridal Expos, Bride of the Year Competitions, as well as numerous fashion events and charity fundraisers.
Sue’s expertise and personal dedication to her work, has resulted in the exceptional success of her Modelling and Deportment Academy. Now focused on the Academy and with a strong management team behind her, the business is set expand to the Gold Coast in Queensland in 2019.
